The report was so clear to understand the inspection as well as the deficts and of course it was so quick to get the full report.
Thanks Peter for the thorough inspection and the detailed report.
I had a very thorough pre-purchase building inspection completed, followed by a detailed phone call where Kosie took the time to explain all the findings and how each issue could be addressed. For one particular concern, he even connected me with the company’s General Manager, who clearly explained the relevant Australian building standards and the requirements for rectifying the issue. I really appreciated the extra time and effort they put into making sure I fully understood everything. Overall, I’m very happy with their professionalism, knowledge, and customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and thorough building inspection service.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Kosie for a property pre settlement inspection. Kosie's professionalism and meticulous attention to detail truly impressed me. Kosie conducted a thorough inspection, explaining each finding clearly and providing valuable recommendations for maintenance and improvements. Kosie's expertise was evident in the comprehensive report delivered promptly. What sets Kosie apart is his commitment to client satisfaction; they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Kosie for anyone in need of a reliable and proficient building inspector.
We inspect every estate in Officer 3809 and the surrounding suburbs of Pakenham, Beaconsfield, Officer South, Clyde North, Berwick and Guys Hill. Our local inspectors are on site in Officer most weeks, so travel never adds to the price.

By the service, the stage and the size of the home. A single storey slab check takes less time than a two storey handover, and a pre-purchase with timber pest adds a second scope. Request a quote online and the figure comes back before you book.
Pre-handover inspections lead, with the construction stages close behind. Officer is still largely new estate housing, so most calls come from people partway through a build or a week out from handover.
Normally within 24 hours of the visit. Stage reports are often sent the same day because the next trade is already booked.
Yes. We are registered with the Building and Plumbing Commission (formerly the VBA) and carry professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Your contract drawings and engineering first, then the National Construction Code, the relevant Australian Standards and the Guide to Standards and Tolerances 2015. Each finding names the one it fails.
Yes. As the owner you can engage an independent inspector at any stage. We give the site supervisor notice so access is arranged.
Yes. We inspect throughout Officer 3809, including the estates either side of the Princes Freeway, and in Officer South, Pakenham, Beaconsfield and Clyde North.
At minimum, frame and pre-handover. Add the slab pre-pour if you want the reinforcement checked, and lock-up if your home has a complex roof or upper floor.
Send the report to your builder in writing and ask for a date for the fix. If they dispute an item, ring the inspector who attended and we explain it in plain terms or speak to the supervisor.
Usually. Homes built in the last decade in Officer still show drainage faults, unsealed penetrations and roof items that a quick look at an open home will not reveal.
Yes, as a building and pest inspection reported under AS 4349.3. We inspect and report on timber pest activity and conducive conditions; we do not treat.
A standard inspection report is written for you and the builder. If a dispute goes to the Building and Plumbing Commission's dispute resolution service (formerly DBDRV) or to VCAT, you need an expert witness report, which we also prepare.
Access to the site or home, your plans and engineering for a new build, and any list of concerns. You are welcome to attend and walk through the findings with us.
